BEYOND THERAPY
Our parent organisation called Center for Depression Anxiety Relationships (CEDAR), was established with an aim to help prevent suicide and help people form meaningful connections in life. CEDAR was established in August, 2017, and since then we have started several training programs that equip people with counselling & therapy skills. CEDAR also is involved in research & development where we combine the world of psychology with technology, and try to help several people in a short span of time. Our aim is to provide quality services in the field of psychology, where there is an interesting mix of standardisation as well as human connection, especially related to suicide prevention, healing from depression, and relationship therapy.

About the Founder

Sonal Sonawani, Psychologist, practicing since 12 years has completed her education as Masters in Psychology from Fergusson College, Pune, holding second rank at Pune University. She then completed her education in Couple and Family therapy from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS, Mumbai) and went on to complete Couple therapy at Gottman Institute, US. She is a certified CBT, REBT & Psychodynamic Psychotherapy practitioner. She is also an International Affiliate with the American Psychological Association (APA).

COVID ON MY MIND
COVID on my MIND is an initiative started by CEDAR to provide free of cost counselling srrvices to individuals who have been grappling with the anxiety, trauma and grief related to the pandemic. So far, this initiative has helped thousands of individuals and CEDAR continues to extend this service to people who need it.
The initiative started in April, 2020, making CEDAR one of the first few porganizations to provide these services.
